Stain Treatment

What is Stain Treatment?

Skin spots or hyper-pigmentation, are produced by the alteration in the production of melanin, pigment responsible for skin coloration.

The melanocyte, the epidermal cell responsible for manufacturing melanin, produces an uncontrolled increase in melanin, producing a localized excess pigment, giving rise to the stain.

There are several determining factors in the appearance of hyperpigmentation:
- Genetic predisposition.
- Solar radiation.
- Inflammatory processes.
- Hormonal changes.
- Exposure to substances and photosensitizing medication.

It is a cosmetic treatment, which is indicated to correct and regulate the appearance of new spots on the skin. It is a combined treatment that is performed first in the consultation and then continued at home. As it is a deep peel, it will also be applied to eliminate small wrinkles, skin blemishes such as acne sequelae as it enhances skin renewal and regeneration.

In consultation, the doctor applies the depigmenting cream as a mask to the clean face and leaves the patient at rest for about 20 minutes. The cream may sting or sting the first few minutes. Then the patient returns to his home with the mask on, leaving it to act for between five and seven hours, always subject to medical criteria. After the exposure time has elapsed, the patient should remove the mask with plenty of water. Subsequently, a specific cream that calms and hydrates the skin will be applied as many times as necessary, always accompanying it with essential sun protection throughout the treatment. From this moment on, a specific cream with total sunscreen should be used during the day and another moisturizing and regenerating cream is applied at night. Frequent questions Stain Treatment

Rhinoplasty is normally done inside the nose. In this case the scar is inside, so it is not visible at all.

If Rhinoplasty has to be performed externally, the scars are hidden in inconspicuous places. After the Rhinoplasty procedure, plaster and a plaster are placed on them to keep the nose in the desired position, which is removed a week.

The operating time of a Rhinoplasty usually varies between one and two hours and is performed under general anesthesia. If only the tip is treated, it can be done under local anesthesia. During the surgery you will not feel any pain.

The result of Rhinoplasty is seen immediately. The 80% of inflammation is reduced to one month, the rest of the inflammation being able to extend until six months. The result is permanent.

The purpose of removing the Bichat balls is to reduce them, accentuating the cheekbones and sharpening the face, achieving an effect similar to that intended when shading the sides of the face with rouge.

Rhinoplasty does not have a painful postoperative period, bruising may appear around the eyes. Special care must be taken in cleaning the nasal passages and in the application of anti-inflammatory creams, not being able to blow for a month and a half. Relative rest should be maintained for three to four days and no physical activity should be performed for one month.

In the case that the patient does not present functional alteration such as deviation of the septum or does not have a deformity of the ridge and in which there is only an alteration in the tip of the nose, a Mini Rhinoplasty, being a minor intervention that is performed on an outpatient basis and with local anesthesia. By not touching the rigid structures of the nose, you do not need a cast and your recovery is milder.
