What is the Pectoral Prosthesis?
Sometimes, even with frequent exercise, men find that their pectoral muscles do not respond as desired. For some men who work their body muscles through physical exercise, it is frustrating to see that, despite weight training and routines, the pectoral muscles do not develop as desired. For these men, pectoral implants can be an excellent alternative to build and improve chest muscles, which contributes to a more defined and muscular appearance. Well-proportioned body musculature is a symbol of masculinity.
Many men believe that it is impossible to create the pectoral development they desire, even by training intensively. This has led to a high demand for pectoral implants.
Pectoral Prosthesis
Some individuals have defective muscle development of the pectoral muscle and it does not grow properly. For these patients with mild chest deformities such as an excavated chest and congenital absence of pectoral muscles, placement of pectoral implants may be helpful in correcting these deformities.
In these cases, the patient may consider pectoral implant surgery.

Technique
The objective of the intervention is to get a chest as natural as possible and that its image is very masculine. The implants are held in place with the pectoral muscle and muscle function will not be affected.
Pectoral implant surgery is normally an outpatient procedure that usually takes between one and two hours.
The incisions are made in the armpit crease. The surgeon then creates a cavity large enough to place the pectoral implants. Once the implants are in place, the surgeon carefully checks the symmetry and makes the final adjustments. The incision is then closed with sutures and a girdle is placed over the treated area.
Duration and Anesthesia
The intervention lasts approximately one or two hours, with local anesthesia and sedation or general, on an outpatient basis.
Postoperative
At the end of the operation, a compression bandage is applied that is removed after 48 hours, which ensures the correct position of the implants and the protection of the wound. You will then wear a compression girdle for 3 weeks.
Most discomfort is well controlled with the prescribed medication. At approximately 20 days the intradermal suture will be removed. You can shower normally after 4 days, although baths are not recommended until the stitches are removed.
Results
The results are very satisfactory for the patient.

«I was informed about the treatments, the cases carried out by Dr. García-Aparicio and his career and I had it clear, I had to do it at the Renaissance Madrid Clinic»
«I consulted at least 5 clinics before choosing Renaissance Clinic Madrid. They were transparent at all times, they gave me the prices over the phone and Dr. Garcia Aparicio explained to me very detailed and easy to understand the whole process ».
